Whenever we made a donation at the hospital, Evelyn would place her heart at the bottom of the tree. She told us she did this because she was part of the roots—strong and essential, providing nutrients to help the other trees grow. Evelyn knew she was making a difference, helping other children get better and supporting their families.

 

As we continue to build a legacy in Evelyn’s name, we hold close to the simplicity and wisdom of the lesson she taught us.

 

We are committed to building strong roots, just as Evelyn did, to support those on the journey through pediatric cancer.

 

We are committed to being a force for change so that children experience the joy and love that Evelyn cherished.

 

We are committed to raising awareness and working towards improving the experiences of childhood cancer patients because that is what Evelyn asked us to do.
